Now that is what I call finger lickin’ good!

You all know… I love street style food. I didn’t realize how much I missed Asia style woks until me and Liberitas Mas went over to Take A Wok, which is located in the fancy side of San Salvador.

I had to stop myself from slurping all the food and juices from the bottom of my bowl. It was that tasty! I ordered the veggie wok which comes with a plethora of veggies, a base (rice/veg/noodles), a protein (I chose tofu) and a sauce (I chose guava and ginger). The combination, with a little bit of chili oil drizzled in – hit the spot. It was everything I would have wanted and more.

Take A Wok gets a 4/5 because I loved the sauce soooo much on its own but I couldn’t really taste it much in the wok. Perfect, perfect spot for vegetarians and vegans alike!

I had the lovely company of Doris from Libritas de Mas, El Salvadorian food blogger,
