If you are on a budget, or want to experience a destination like a local you can stay with locals for free in their home. It may be a spare room, couch or a sleeping surface (floor, hammock..) but it a totally free exchange. You can stay for free a day or even for weeks.

I host travellers at my home. I host up to 4 people at a time; solo travellers, families, couples, friends.. I’ve hosted monks from Tibet, backpackers from Brazil, glampackers from Texas, musicians from Estonia and the list goes on. I LOVE hosting. My guests receive a comfy bed or sofa, my spare keys, freedom to cook whenever, come and go as they please. I show them around my city, we eat together, explore and hang out. It is an amazing way to share cultures and welcome travellers to your city.
